It has been a year....

Here is what we have been up to recently:

Halloween parties and more fun. This year Edie is a Princess Fairy Ballerina and Cora is a Fairy Ballerina Princess. We went to the Lakewood High School Spirit Parade and the homecoming football game. The girls wore purple and gold- complete with pom pom.

We attended two different weddings two weekends in a row (both beautiful) and went to the same reception hall for both.

We went to Red Wagon Farm and did a hayride, went through a maze and played in the straw. The girls painted a pumpkin.Emma re-learned how to sew this weekend and made Edie a skirt- not perfect, but pretty good for a novice. Heidi at Stitch Cleveland- a great store in Lakewood- was a great teacher and Emma had fun with her co-workers attending the class (we made pajama bottoms).

Since Edie wears skirts every day, attempts will be made to make a few more- a little bit of remnant fabric and some elastic is a lot more affordable than buying her tons of skirts....Edie is a great model.

Emma is teaching Sunday School (3rd and 4th graders), taking ballet and getting to yoga as much as possible.

Edie is in Pre-K now and starting to put letters together for reading/spelling words. She loves to skate, swim, take ballet and she has just started gymnastics. She goes to Sunday school and sings in the Cherub choir (she has yet to make her debut in church). She can now swim on her own and is trying to figure out rotary breathing.

Cora is wild and fun. She has been taking a music class and loves to run and climb. She can't wait to turn three (in the spring) and take classes with Edie- she loves to do anything Edie does. Cora sings a lot.

Rob and Emma have managed to get out a bit more thanks to babysitters and enjoy getting out in Cleveland again. Most recently we attended a large tasting party for Cleveland Beer Week with friends- and it was just as fun as it sounds.

Everyone is healthy and we are enjoying fall!
